PORDEA is a community-based civil society organisaion that acts to reduce poverty in underdeveloped parts of Laos. We undertake projects both on our own account and as a local implementation agency for international NGOs, and use a mixture of paid and voluntary teams of young people.

We were formed in 2005 and are registered officially as a non-profit organsiation with the government of Lao PDR (no: 01/LFNC registered by the Lao Front for National Construction).

PORDEA depends entirely on external funding, both from major donors and by private individuals and organisations. Please help us in our work.
